About

 Us

Natasha and Mary met when their older kids were in elementary school. They became fast friends that shared a love for nutrition and cooking, often over wine. When two of their kids went vegetarian and vegan, they got to realizing that many families were struggling with similar issues. They found that many families were happy to cut back on meat consumption, but not about to cook solely vegan just to accommodate one child. We also meet families with gluten-free members or pescatarians. We wanted to create an great easy-to-use resource for these families to find fun recipes, learn what inspires their teens, and how to create great restaurant dishes quickly at home.

Mary teaches yoga, writes and loves to shop the farmer’s market. She started a weekly farmer’s market in her kid’s local elementary school and cooked with the students, implementing a healthy lunch and cooking program from Wellness in the Schools. With a bit more free time than Natasha, she comes up with new and creative recipes featuring seasonal, local ingredients.

As a busy lawyer, Natasha likes to make sure each meal is packed with nutrition and great taste, and make from scratch, but she prefers batch cooking when she has time so she can sprint home to whip up dinner in under 30 minutes. Both of these moms are delighted to teach you all of their tips and tricks.
