Matsuri Brown Rice

This is a brown rice for people who hate brown rice. Because it's a sushi rice, it binds together and avoids all the dry cardboard taste usually associated with brown rice.

It's super easy to make.

For the Rice Cooker and a family of 4:

Measure out two cups of Matsuri brown rice.

Rinse the rice three times, sometimes allowing water to remain on the first or second rinse so that you don't lose too much rice when you pour out water. On the third rinse, pour out the water completely. You will have wet rice, and a bit of water remaining. This is fine.

Add two cups of water to the wet washed rice.

Put in the rice cooker and cook.
