Vegan Restaurant Bowls

Writer: multivorefamilymultivorefamily

Bowls, Grain-Bowls and Pokes are all the rage in New York City restaurants. They are simple, nutritious and delicious. An entire meal in one bowl by layering proteins, grains, and vegetables, all with delicious condiments. This is from the Lumpia Shack in Manhattan's Greenwich Village. Left: the Vegetarian SISIG Rice Bowl made with three types of Monk's Meat seitan, an egg yolk and calimansi. Right: Build-your-own rice bowl with brown rice, tofu and mushrooms (non-GMO). Both are served with pickled radishes, and a spring mix with a light dressing on the side.
