The Best Guacamole Recipe

Once you make this for your family, we can guarantee they will beg you to make it again. It's a perfect snack or starter that's naturally gluten-free and vegan, but surely satisfies any carnivore. You'll never buy store bought again, as there is such a difference in taste. If any is leftover, store for avocado toast the next day. Be sure to hang on to the pit and store the pit with the leftovers or with the guacamole until you serve -- it will help prevent some of the avocado browning.

- 3 avocados

- 1 medium tomato, cored and chopped small

- 1/4 of a small red onion, finely chopped

- juice from 1/2 a lime

- Cilantro -- 1/4 of a bunch, finely chopped

- dash of hot sauce (more or less, depending on preference)

- Salt and pepper to taste.

Add the chopped cilantro, onion and tomatoes to a medium bowl. Just before serving peel and and add the avocado. Mash with the other ingredients until smooth with a few chunks. Add hot sauce, lime juice and salt and pepper. Serve with Tortilla Chips or chopped veggies of choice.
