Hoisin Coated Tofu

Writer: multivorefamilymultivorefamily

This is something we add to lots of dishes, such as fried rice, salads or quinoa bowls. It's a great way to add flavor and protein to any vegan dish, or to have on hand for the vegan in your family when you are making meat to satisfy the carnivore. And it takes just minutes to prepare.

- 1 package of tofu, drained and pressed - wrap in paper towels then place a heavy can on top.

- 1 TBSP of vegetable oil of your choice

- 1 TSBP soy sauce

- 3 TBSP hoisin sauce

Once the tofu is dry, cut into cubes. In a large skillet add the oil. When pan is hot, but not smoking, add the tofu. Once it begins to stick add the soy sauce and flip it so the other side can also get golden. Add the hoisin sauce and cook for one more minute. Ready to serve or store.
