Chocolate Avocado Pudding

This pudding is paleo, vegan, gluten-free and whips up in minutes. You get the health benefits of avocados and raw cacao powder, and to bump up the nutrients we add the superfood Moringa leaf powder which is a powerful immunity booster and has 8 essential amino acids. just one teaspoon also has 39% of your daily iron, so we try to add a bit into baked goods and smoothies whenever we can. This pudding really tastes like a creamy decadent dessert.

  • 2 medium ripe avocados

  • 5 TBSP unsweetened raw cacao powder

  • 4 TBSP maple syrup or honey (more or less depending on desired sweetness)

  • 1/2 cup of non-dairy milk (More if it is too thick)

  • 1 tsp Moringa leaf powder

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

  • If desired top with pistachios, hazelnuts, almonds, shredded coconut, sliced fruit.

Cut open the avocado and use a knife to "stab" the pit. Cut it into large chunks and add it to the blender. Add the cacao, maple syrup or honey, and non-dairy milk. Blend until it is smooth. You can add more milk to achieve the desired constancy. Add more cacao or honey or agave to taste. Refrigerate the pudding and serve cold. cover with plastic wrap to avoid it forming a top "skin". Top with your favorite toppings before serving.
